Istanbul

16–22 November 2027 · Seven Days +

One of the world's most significant cities — and the ultimate investment in yourself.

A City, Not a Checklist

We keep it to six guests, total, and we base the whole week on the Bosphorus in Kadıköy — a whole floor at a well-known, well-located hotel, with the Bosphorus view you'll dream about the rest of your days, warm and dry whatever the weather does. Ferries carry us across to the old city and back to Kadıköy — or you'll learn the metro, as elegant and clean as any in the world. Istanbul is one of the largest cities on earth, nearly twenty million strong — a city that will push you, in all the best ways.

November is Istanbul turned inward — steam and marble, long meze dinners, Turkish coffee and conversation, your grounds read at the table. This is not tourist season; this is immersion in one of the oldest and most culturally diverse places on earth. Let us show you the way, with cultural notes and history too. Traveling with us will shape you — the best travel does.

Day 1 · Tue, Nov 16Arrival & First SoakPınar

Land, settle at your residence, a welcome pour on the floor as the Bosphorus glows through the glass. Then Ağa Hamam in Cihangir — the oldest in the quarter, intimate, a mixed session — the soft arrival ritual. An early dinner in Kadıköy, and sleep. Arrival day stays light.

Day 2 · Wed, Nov 17The Old CityPınar

Ferry across the water. Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern, a long lunch, then the Blue Mosque — or quieter Süleymaniye with its Golden Horn view. Close over Turkish coffee, with Pınar reading the grounds in your cup. Back to Kadıköy.

Day 3 · Thu, Nov 18Bazaars & the BridgeGökay

Into the Grand Bazaar with Gökay, who knows its lanes and its people — then the Spice Bazaar, a balık ekmek at the water in Eminönü, and a walk across the Galata Bridge among the fishermen. Back to Kadıköy.

Day 4 · Fri, Nov 19Asian-Side Rest DayPınar

No crossing today. The Kadıköy market, lunch at Çiya Sofrası, the Moda seaside; a stroll through Üsküdar and street food. Then the marquee evening: a meyhane and rakı night hosted by Pınar — meze from a chef's hands, the table long. It's important to have this night as a group — you will understand why once you have been there.

With Zeynep: Topkapı Palace, down to the water, across to Galata and up the Galata Tower, a little shopping, and a rooftop dinner at Georges as the city lights come up. Back to Kadıköy.

The People Who Open the City

Pınar

Anchor · Historian · Chef

The soul of the week — historian, cook, reader of coffee grounds, keeper of the hammams and the rakı table. She works at the Kılıç Ali Paşa, and she holds the room.

Gökay

The Grand Bazaar

Our hand inside the labyrinth — the lanes, the merchants, the good tea and the fair price. With Gökay the bazaar becomes a neighbourhood.

Zeynep

Galata · High Culture

Palaces, towers, the art and the rooftops. Zeynep carries the high-culture thread and the eye for where the city looks most like itself at dusk.

At 50, she decided to get a baseline on her health, and the experience made her want to share this incredible place — and this option for your own health, the ultimate investment in yourself.

The Wellbeing Extension

Istanbul is a world capital for unhurried, high-quality health assessment. For those who want it, we make it effortless — a self-directed extension that begins after the hosted week ends, so the group is never split around it.

Diagnostic Check-Up
A “Gold Package” full-day evaluation, approximately $500 — results in 24–48 hours, all medical records given to you directly.
Executive Physical
The “Full Executive Physical,” about $4,000 — MRI and CAT scan plus an overnight sleep study. Results in 24–48 hours: a comprehensive overview, all medical records given to you directly.
Door to Door
Hospital pickup from your residence, both ways, daily. So as you shift focus to your health, your comfort and ease continue. Should you need to extend your stay following a diagnosis, we can help there too.
Elif is a Resource
Turkish translation and companionship — she is there when your results come, to sit with you and help you process what you learn. Health is a journey.

We host travel; we do not provide or advise on medical care — we facilitate the relationship between our guests and world-class healthcare facilities. If you plan to pursue either option, let us know at the time of booking so we can arrange scheduling and the additional days in the residence. Elif never handles records, payments, or diagnostics.

Elif Is Here

Your Istanbul companion — she'll be with you on the ground. Ask her anything about the week: the hosts, the hammams, the rest day, or the wellbeing extension.

Istanbul, Medical Tourism & the Executive Physical

Can I get an executive physical in Istanbul as a traveler?
Yes. Istanbul is a leading destination for executive physicals and health screening. On the Fall 2027 trip, the optional Wellbeing Extension lets you add a full-day diagnostic check-up or a comprehensive executive physical — including MRI, CT, and an overnight sleep study — at a world-class hospital, with scheduling, door-to-door transport, and Turkish-language support coordinated for you. Pas Perdu facilitates the relationship with the hospital; it does not provide or advise on medical care.
How much does an executive physical or full health check-up in Istanbul cost?
As a guide, a full-day diagnostic Gold Package evaluation runs approximately $500, and a complete executive physical with MRI, CT, and an overnight sleep study about $4,000 — a fraction of comparable US pricing, with results typically in 24–48 hours and all medical records given directly to you. Final pricing is set by the hospital.
Is medical tourism in Istanbul safe and reputable?
Istanbul's leading hospitals are internationally accredited and treat patients from around the world. Our role is to make it seamless for a small group of travelers — coordinating appointments, transport from your residence, and translation — so your focus stays on your health and your trip. Pas Perdu is a travel host, not a medical provider.
What is included in the Istanbul Wellbeing Extension?
It is an optional, self-directed add-on that begins after the hosted cultural week, so the group is never split around it: your choice of a one-day diagnostic check-up or a two-to-three-day executive physical, daily door-to-door transport from your residence, and a companion for Turkish translation and support. Let us know at booking so we can arrange scheduling and any additional nights.
When is the Pas Perdu Istanbul trip and how do I join?
The inaugural Pas Perdu Istanbul week runs 16–22 November 2027, limited to six guests, based on the Bosphorus in Kadıköy. It is by application rather than checkout — apply on this page and we will be in touch personally. Choose Hosted Travel or Concierge Complet.
Does Pas Perdu provide medical care or advice?
No. Pas Perdu hosts travel and facilitates the relationship between our guests and world-class healthcare facilities. We never handle your medical records, payments, or diagnostics, and we do not provide or advise on medical care — that stays between you and your providers.
